The reason I think it is important for you to check the site out is to see why they rank the site so poorly and learn some of the things NOT to do when creating or changing your Web site.
Some of reasons may be obvious, but others may not be and you might even find you are guilty of a few of them yourself. So check it out and hopefully your site will never make it on that list!

a great tool to organize your social networking sites...

Back again with another cool resource that I think can add value to your Internet markeing and social networking efforts. It's called www.friendfeed.com and it's a place where you can see every blog post, video, comment, etc that you have posted on the Internet. It's probably easier to undertand by seeing what one looks like - here's the link to my friendfeed: http://friendfeed.com/ebootcamp
I've definitely found that it keeps me more organzied and as I continue to branch out to more networking sites, it will become that much more important.

A blessed day - I'm totally humbled by the overwhelming support...
Well eBoot Campers,
we did it. And we did it in a big way. A picture is worth a 1000 words and the results of our Amazon launch campaign are below. The summary is we hit #1 on Marketing, retail and ecommerce catagories and #145 overall on Amazon. Of course, that includes the fiction books and nobody is going to beat Harrry Potter! :) I can't thank you enough for all the support and kind wishes today. I'm most excited for everyone to get the book because I know it will help you and your business succeed. I can't wait to hear what you think.

The book finally arrived!!!
After 17 months of blood, sweat and #2 pencils, my book finally arrived at my doorstep today. As a first time author, it was such a wonderful feeling. And sharing it with my beautiful wife made it even much more special. I'll take tonight to soak in the moment and then it's back to work tomorrow. We have a book to sell!

Happy New Year from eBoot Camp!
Hello eBoot Campers!
Just a quick note to say how excited I am for what's in store for 2009!
2008 was a rough year for many and each of us has felt the effects of the struggling economy in one way or the other. I was speaking to a friend of mine this morning and we were discussing what is going to need to happen for us to turn the corner and bring our economy back to life. We both agreed that there are many different answers to that question, but one thought stood out above all the rest. That we all need to take active responsibility in driving our economy back in the right direction. That might mean doing more at work, being better consumers of health care, investing in ourselves to become more hire-able and so on.
My mission for writing eBoot Camp was to empower people to be able to "actively" participate in driving more business and increasing sales. Many of the companies I worked with in 2008 had their best year on record. Was that because they were lucky or happen to be in a pocket of the world that wasn't feeling the negative effects of the economy? Nope. In fact, one of them was in Detroit, MI - one of the toughest economies in the Country. The difference was they didn't become a victim of the economy. Instead, they worked harder, did more with less and learned new skills to adapt to a changing world. They refused to engage in a recession and their business has prospered.
I believe in people and I believe in small business owners. We've seen tough times before and we've persevered. 2009 will be a year where we refuse to engage in a recession and actively participate in making this a great year for us and our business.
